After an intense month reviewing at the Edinburgh Fringe, Laura and Isabelle decided it was their turn to dip their toes into the theatrical pond. The theatre company was named after the project that brought them together: Laura's monologue 'Turning Point'. Their aim was (and still is) to encourage creatives with little experience to show their work to the world with some artistic guidance along the way. They also produce their own work and are always looking for ways to continue their creative journey.
experience
Laura and Isabelle have been involved in theatre since they can both remember. They have extensive experience working as collaborators on both amateur and professional projects. The two are also massive English Literature nerds in their final year studying at the University of St Andrews.
skills
Between the team they have skills in almost all theatrical sectors, including acting, writing and directing. Laura and Isabelle are also experienced theatre reviewers and have been welcomed to many shows to give constructive feedback. They have facilitated play-reading sessions where they have conducted discussions about how to develop plays in their formative stages. They can also throw really good events (ask their fans).
